About, Membership & Recommendations
Set up the About, Membership and Recommendations pages.
Create the pages
All three are pages you create. Name them about, membership and recommendations, or use any URL and pick About, Membership or Recommendations under Template in the page settings menu.
Page hero
Page hero picks the opener on About and Membership:
- Centered statement sets the title large and centred.
- Split hero sets it beside the page’s feature image. On Membership, it sits beside the page’s own standfirst.
The same setting picks the error page layout.
About
About counts its own figures: posts published, writers, tags and the year you started. Mirror reads them from your publication every time the page renders, so there’s nothing to update by hand.
Below the figures comes your page body, then the writers masthead.
Membership
Prices and tiers
Prices come from your tiers, never from the theme. Names, descriptions, benefits and both prices are set under Settings → Membership.
- The monthly/yearly switch shows as soon as one paid tier exists.
- Every button opens Ghost’s real signup for that tier and interval.
- Featured tier names the tier that gets the accent panel and the “Most popular” chip. It defaults to
Pro.
Comparison, quotes and questions
The benefit comparison, member quotes and questions are your page’s own body:
- Write the comparison as a table. On a phone it scrolls sideways instead of cropping the last column.
- Write the questions as toggle cards.
Mirror styles both.
Behind the paywall
Behind the paywall right now shows the three most recent posts a free reader can’t finish. It disappears if your publication gates nothing.
Recommendations
Recommendations lists the publications you added under Settings → Recommendations, in either Directory layout.
Every entry links to the publication. Where Ghost knows a publication runs on Ghost, a second button opens that publication’s own signup.
